Monotones ninth installment can easily be argued to be one of the labels top releases with four super solid tracks of electro madness. Imatran Voima re-introduces two of their biggest cuts with In Out & Techno Slut. Remastered then Remixed these four tracks leave nothing to be desired except listening and spinning them again. On the A Side sits the two original masterpieces with a new level of quality known from the Monotone Brand. On the B side we find the first cut remixed by Jackal (Jackal & Hyde) but dont be confused when you hear this unique sound coming from one of the electro masters as he outdoes himself once again. The inside cut is the slam dunk on this release then Exzakt & Dynamik Bass System team up with some German Florida melding and its just what you would expect from this collaboration and then some. Two thumbs up!!!

This is a different record then the one on X Beat. Now were back in classic Kyper territory. This is a great techno/rave song, one that could easily power a dance floor. Indeed, it may be the most danceable song Kyper ever did. Then Agent K & Deuce get ahold of it and take it to the more underground sound. And on the flip your very own DJ Digital get the party starting with his high energy workout remix. Finally we have DJ Trashy doing his electro style remix. Its about using ecstasy (and dancing and having sex, but mainly ecstasy, and years before it became well known, to boot), the instrumentals are great and the lyrics are relatively non-lame for a drug song.

Future Forward is a new hybrid of Chicago “Jack.” This project was conceived by Matt Nee who has just appeared on DJ Hell’s ubiquitous International Deejay Gigolo label on “The Dirty Criminals” album. This project features vocals from Old School Chicago mainstay, John “Break It Down” Simmons who represents in a very Dougie Fresh, Fast Eddie, Beat Box styling. To round things off we have enlisted the help of Internation Gigolo & Turbo producer, Plastique De Reve whose singles have smashed the electro scene. He has been on the playlist of Tiga (not to mention an artist on Tiga’s label), Felix Da Housecat, DJ Hell, The Hacker & Tommy Sunshine, just to name a few. Here he demonstrates his love for OLD SCHOOL Chicago jack tracks and influences of Marshall Jefferson. Certainly a record for the modern day dancefloor and one which I am sure will find numerous fans. Also includes a MINIMAL monster from Chicago artist, Billy Dalessandro who closes things off. Eric has been busy in the studio recently making a wealth of exciting new material. As with all the Pryda releases there is a firm emphasis on making devastating dancefloor tracks with key hooklines and melodies. Eric Prydz's labels have recieved some serious support over the last 3 years and rightly so. Between Mouseville, Pryda and Pryda Friends we have seen some serious defining moments in club music with Eric's productions influencing an entire sound that has been with us for some time. This time Eric has unleashed a nuclear weapon for his Pryda imprint with the A side - Ironman being an absolute breath of fresh air. Being touted by many as one of the greatest tracks of the year already. This is a dark, smoke filled room affair with building intense synths and amazing edits and a disco bassline change up to die for. The main break is one of the most intense musical pieces we've ever heard here with the drop bound to cause dancefloor devastation. The AA flip side - Madderferrys has been a mainstay in Eric's sets for a while with its melodic building feel and cool synth work before the supremely clever synth edits hit hard with a synth edit to die for. All the while the track is enveloped in Eric's deep atmospheric swirling sounds. When the bassline eventually drops its simply electrifying. We think this is one of the best Pryda releases ever made so don't delay - get that order in. Already heavy, heavy support from Pete Tong, Sasha, Digweed and Deep Dish.
