BRS's "Protect My Soul" is straight up west coast style house track. It contains groovy bass line along with twisted funky vocals on top of it. On the flip, "No Milk mix" contains beautiful piano melody line along with heavy bass. At last, "Beatblocks east dub mix" includes techier synth melody lines along with rolling hi-hats and bassline. Definitely peak time track.
This is the debut single of the Beatblocks. Beatblocks is a production unit by Jun & Phonon both are part of the original crew of Outergaze & Capricious. They appeared on the remix work "The Strip" by Triangle Orchestra and "Protect My Soul" by BRS on Outergaze. The title track "Feeling Like Water is a deep dubby electric tune with a sweet Rhodes Piano. The 2nd track 'First Aperrance" featuring NOV, keyboard player. Analog synth's feel's of 80's electronic jazz funk! The last cut, "Cast Off The Skin" has heavy rhythms and builds up with a deep synth. Percussive & Funky!!Great Quality Funk Jazz record!!
Outergaze is proud to present Japanese Babies EP by Miles Maeda. One of the pionner's of the Chicago House scene as Mark Farina, Derick Carter, Dj Sneak who all came from the "Gramaphone" camp. After moving to San Diego, Miles spread his DJ carrer far & world wide. A side "Electroluv(Kool Nu Mix) " is an old styled beat. On the flip, "Jet Bass(Hybrid House Mix)" is a funky Chicago House tune that samples the mighty Alexander Robotonik's "Problem's D' Amour. The last track featured on this EP is "Theme(Nu Original Mix)", which is the theme song on Mile's website. Other versions of this track have been releases in the past, but it's the first time the original version of this song is released!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Om Records presents the man from Minneapolis, a one-man band in all his glory: CHUCK LOVE! We can't say enough about this multi-talented musician. He sings, he dances, he plays the melodica! (Google it). Beautiful Thang, as featured on Om:Summer Sessions, is a house masterpiece, and features the vocal talents of fellow Minnesotan Justin Thompson, AKA Fourfeet. On the remix tip, Om has pulled out all the stops! Leading off, none other than Trevor Loveys.. who jacks and jacks and jacks some more! Trevor loops the horns, brings the bottom end with not one but two insane basslines, and adds lots of effects to annihilate the dancefloor. On the inside.. another Om remix debut: Chicago's Bryan Jones.. who turns out a smooth Chi-town mix. Flip over for the original, plus one more remix.. From yet another Om remix debut: Belgium's Sven Van Hees. Sven takes it deep and breaks the beat.. giving us a mix for the cosmic disco lounge. Don't sleep on these baby's, cause they won't be around for long.
The title track, "Don't Want Chu (Now)" is in Fred's trademark funky tech house style - pumpin' dancefloor beats with a deep and moody vibe. The electro-ish bass sounds should please the modern ear, and the epic string & synth arrangements build tension and keep the energy HIGH. On the flip, Fred offers a B-Side cut called "Come On Everybody," which is featured as the closing track on Om:Miami 2007. "Come On Everybody" is a little more of a late-night houser.. with shuffling beats, a funky bassline, and lots of vocal samples throughout. The strings on top make it a little reminiscent of Black Science Orchestra's "New Jersey Deep," which should please the late night crowds. Also on Side B, JT Donaldson & Tim Kvasnosky (of Home & Garden) combine to give us an ultra-modern, forward-thinking remix (also featured on Om:Miami 2007). Rolling electro drums, a super-dirty bassline, cut up vocal samples, and the epic strings make this another late-nighter for the decks. Not what you would expect from these two deep housers, but a pleasant surprise at that!
The illustrious Colette is back with her first single "About Us" from her long awaited follow up to her remarkably successful debut album "Hypnotized." 2007 brings you the same thoughtful harmonies alongside Colette's lighthearted drifts that we all know and love her for.
Highly sought after for months, and unavailable anywhere outside of the top Om DJ's crates. Now finally available as an official release, Digable Planets' Ladybug Mecca is ready to shred the hip house dancefloor near you. First up is Om labelmate Fred Everything on the controls. He kills it with a beat that compliments.
As promised.. here we have part two of the stunning "Woman of the Sun" release from Onionz, featuring ragga vocalist El Feco (Solomonic Sound). Leading off this remix package is none other than Francois Dubois (who happens to be Funk d'Void's long lost identical twin brother from the French countryside), coming off his slamming projects on Urban Torque and Buzzin Fly. Lush deep techno at its absolute finest. In the A2 slot, Texan turned Californian Jake Childs busts the electro bounce for the more trendy crowds. Up next, flip over for a storming underground mix from Magik Johnson - the tough beats and sick rolling bassline work your dancefloor to maximum freak! Closing things out, Portland's Bryan Zentz brings the heat with his Disruptor Dub.. deep & dubby dancefloor techno. Dope!
Housetown in the house as Jake Childs (Freerange, Drop) teams up with fellow Houstonian LBO for this chugging four-tracker of quality underground house doings. If Timbaland did house it might sound a bit like the A1 mix of "Feel Them Vibes", with some cool "uh huh" and spoken word samples laid over a thick and hypnotic jacking jazzy groove. More funking fun on the A2 "Dollar Steaks and Hookers" with a slick buzzing bassline and cut-up samples while the flip "Superbowl Sunday" is a tech-drenched jammy with Jake's trademark nasty bass getting a prime-time workout. All the tracks on this one are the sickness, essential gear for the Freerange, Sound Republic and Chuck Love fans.
Luis Roberto & Jake Childs team up for Uni.form 9th release on it's dirty and nasty black imprint. A1. Gansta Like That (Feat. Lil Prince) This Filthy 12" starts off with the team spitting out there motto gansta like that and believe me it's Gangsta like that with it's hypnotizing back bass and repetitive motto, throwing up it's "set". B1 Well well well what can we say about this soon to be gem of the uni.form family. This track features a local native of Santa Barbara resident Erica Bennet to bring forth a hypotising table of life and its product. Poling fun of PIMPS and SUPERSTAR DRUG DEALERS. But most of all this kaskading bassline followed w/ tb303 fused stabs and that Erica telling it like it is. B2 Hypocrites This piece is nothing but synthy bizness with its growling bassline and evil sounding stabs. One word can described this track "EVIL" but still holds that uni.form funk!
Uniform does it again with another quality release from its synthy funk sub label uniform grey this time bon johnson delivers with a hard hitting dirty ass synthy track. With remixes from Trademarq and Island 9.

The latest edition to WILKO’s (IGNITION TECHNICIAN) ‘ANDROIDS’ imprint is the ‘CHILDREN OF HOUSE E.P. This debut release for the label ‘DROIDS ARE BACK IN TOWN’ was extremely well received and continues to sell very strongly, as do all IGNITION TECHNICIAN titles, as a catalogue item. This release should appeal to more ‘house’ influenced tastes, with both mixes of the track being in a more ‘house/crossover’ style. IGNITION TECHNICIAN continues to offer up quality tunes for today’s harder dance floors, and has a forthcoming mix-CD being released on PRIMATE RECORDINGS, entitled ‘FACE2FACE VOL1, which is the first in a new series of CD’s from primate, and it showcases both the DJ style, plus the ‘live’ PIRATE AUDIO set that WILKO has been recently been touring with.

Swiss producer Mogi sums it up on Blu Finn Records with the voice of Rochelle praising their "Nation In A Funk". Electronic, but with the deepness needed to deliver modern and state to the art sound they managed to finish one of those tracks, you just can't stop nodding your head to. The Dub Version mostly waives the vocal and concentrates on the sounds themselves which makes it great for deeper sets and especially the m
