The latest edition to WILKO’s (IGNITION TECHNICIAN) ‘ANDROIDS’ imprint is the ‘CHILDREN OF HOUSE E.P. This debut release for the label ‘DROIDS ARE BACK IN TOWN’ was extremely well received and continues to sell very strongly, as do all IGNITION TECHNICIAN titles, as a catalogue item. This release should appeal to more ‘house’ influenced tastes, with both mixes of the track being in a more ‘house/crossover’ style. IGNITION TECHNICIAN continues to offer up quality tunes for today’s harder dance floors, and has a forthcoming mix-CD being released on PRIMATE RECORDINGS, entitled ‘FACE2FACE VOL1, which is the first in a new series of CD’s from primate, and it showcases both the DJ style, plus the ‘live’ PIRATE AUDIO set that WILKO has been recently been touring with.

The short stabbing synths become quite hypnotic over it’s 6 minute decent which seems to mutate and granulize over and over. The flip side presents “King” a monster ignition switch set to detonate dancefloors around the globe. A stammering flash of battle-ready tech that chucks all manner of elements into the pot and produces a demented hunk of rave basted goodness… This will have you misty-eyed with nostalgia. Funk me! This is accelerated dancefloor mayhem for the scene of tomorrow. My hat goes down to Felix Da Housecat for presenting this fine piece of wax to the world….

Dancefloor techno, a thick driver loaded with piano keys and some sweet delayed stabs. The Main mix is a strong club record flip it for some deeper techno (almost Detroit style)! This record is a solid pick knocking out all possibilties of growing cobwebs sitting parked in record shops! As there's no room for anything but sure shots for techno fans... here is a winner!
